Recognized as one of the chilliest locales in Tabuk, Alqan has become a popular spot for visitors who travel from various distances to camp and revel in the brisk weather. The scenic beauty of Alqan, with its reddish sands and majestic mountains, was recently captured by the Saudi Press Agency, highlighting the village’s natural allure.

Interactions with visitors in the area revealed a fondness for Alqan’s great outdoors. Saad Alanzi, an outdoor enthusiast, expressed his affection for the area, “Alqan and its environs are some of our preferred destinations for hiking and spending quality time with our families, particularly over the weekends.” He mentioned that the daytime offers moderate weather conducive for numerous activities and sports. As night descends, they pitch tents and huddle around campfires, sharing stories in the warmth of the flames.

Another visitor, Abdul Ilah Al-Nasser, shared his enjoyment of the camping experience in Alqan, emphasizing the joy of cold evenings spent in nature’s embrace with close ones. He recommended that people should come to the village to “witness its beauty, explore its natural wonders, and indulge in memorable experiences”.
