Arab Nations Explore Industrial Synergy at AIDSMO Assembly

Minister Al-Khorayef Leads Talks on Industrial Ties

The business media sector brings attention to the recent collaborative efforts among Arab countries aimed at bolstering their industrial sectors. Key figures from these nations convened to discuss strategies for industrial unification and to capitalize on the mining industry’s potential, particularly within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, seized the opportunity for dialogue with his industry counterparts during his stay in Morocco. In a series of bilateral meetings, Al-Khorayef sat down with Iraq’s Khaled Battal Al Najm, Libya’s Ahmed Abu Hisa, Sudan’s Mahasen Ali Yaqoub, and Palestine’s Arafat Asfour. These discussions centered on nurturing industrial integration among Arab states and the abundant prospects in the mining sector that Saudi Arabia has to offer.

The conversations took place in the context of the 28th general assembly of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization, and Mining Organization (AIDSMO), held in Rabat. The assembly’s focus was to advance mining sector cooperation and promote the sharing of industrial expertise.

Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, Vice Minister for Mining Affairs at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, also contributed to the conversations, underlining the importance of these exchanges.

Al-Khorayef wrapped up his Moroccan visit after heading the Saudi delegation at the AIDSMO general assembly, marking an important step towards greater industrial cooperation among Arab nations.
