Boosting Bilateral Trade: Saudi Delegation Visits Oman

Saudi Exports Eyes Enhanced Market Access in Oman

A team from the Saudi Export Development Authority, known as Saudi Exports, is currently on an official mission in the Sultanate of Oman from April 22-23, 2024. The primary objective of this visit is to discuss various matters aimed at increasing the penetration of Saudi products into Omani markets, to explore potential collaborative ventures for advancing service exports in the logistics sector, and to exchange expertise.

The Saudi representatives seized the chance to inspect the logistics area and the Port of Sohar in the Governorate, where they learned about the logistics solutions provided by Oman. They sought to identify opportunities for nurturing and boosting the export of logistics services, with the ultimate goal of reinforcing mutual cooperation and expanding the Kingdom’s service exports.

This initiative is a testament to the Saudi Export Development Authority’s commitment to enhancing the export environment’s efficiency and to forging new pathways that ease the journey of exporters into global and regional markets, including those in Oman. It also underscores the profound economic and trade connections that exist between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman.
