Diriyah Company has made an announcement today about the commencement of a major mixed-use development named Zallal, which is expected to open its doors in the first half of 2025 within the Bujairi District. This initiative is anticipated to add considerable value to the area’s commercial and retail sectors.
The finished development will boast two low-rise structures designed for office use, offering a total of 6,000 square meters of space available for lease. In addition, there will be a collection of 12 outlets combining retail and food & beverage services, covering an expanse of about 8,000 square meters. The enthusiasm for this project is apparent, as there are already a number of high-profile prospective tenants engaged in advanced leasing talks with Diriyah Company.
Positioned next to the bustling Bujairi Terrace, Zallal enjoys a prime spot that is set to attract a steady stream of daily visitors. Its proximity to the successful Diriyah Art Futures event and the anticipated Bab Samhan Hotel further enhances its appeal, offering a vibrant atmosphere for both tenants and visitors alike.
We have been thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive response to Zallal from the commercial sector, and we are currently in advanced negotiations with international and local companies eager to capitalize on the prime location in the heart of Diriyah and the diverse array of accessible retail, F&B, and office spaces available,
stated Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO of Diriyah Company.
He went on to highlight that the construction of Zallal is progressing well, and the development is expected to draw in the daily visitors flocking to Bujairi Terrace, marking it as the newest addition to the company’s extensive master plan.
The project will also offer convenience in terms of transportation, with a basement car park capable of housing 1,400 vehicles, alongside direct access routes to Wadi Hanifah, Al Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad ibn Saud Road, and public transport connections. Additional features will include dedicated coach drop-off areas for tourists to facilitate a smooth and pedestrian-friendly arrival experience.
In the race to secure a spot within Zallal, a diverse group of potential tenants, including high-profile international brands making their debut in Saudi Arabia, local businesses, and innovative Saudi startups, are currently engaged in lease discussions.
