Leo Burnett Saudi Arabia has named Tarek Akil as its new Business Lead, entrusting him with the leadership of the Riyadh office. In this position, Akil will oversee client relations, shape commercial strategies, and drive the agency’s expansion across the Kingdom.
Akil brings more than 20 years of advertising experience, having managed major brands throughout Egypt, the Levant, North Africa, and the GCC. His previous roles include work with companies such as Vodafone, Ariel, and Emirates NBD, and he returns to Publicis Groupe Middle East after a prior leadership role for Cadbury’s regional portfolio.
According to the CEO of Publicis Communications KSA, Akil’s strategic perspective and client-focused approach are expected to strengthen the agency’s brand solutions in Saudi Arabia. Akil’s focus will be on delivering integrated business solutions that leverage the group’s full resources, supporting clients as they navigate new opportunities under Saudi Vision 2030.
