Approximately 100 kilometers to the south of Rafha, within the Northern Borders region of Saudi Arabia, lies the village of Linah, a place steeped in commercial significance and historical allure. Renowned as a prime historical commercial hub, Linah captivates not only local visitors but also those from afar with its impressive array of monuments, historic edifices, and towers.

Esteemed as one of the Arabian Peninsula’s oldest settlements, Linah houses the palace of Saudi Arabia’s inaugural monarch, King Abdulaziz bin Abdurrahman. This palace, founded in 1354 Hijri, covers an expanse of 4320 square meters. Linah’s marketplace holds the distinction of being among the oldest in the nation, surrounded by centuries-old mosques and mud-brick shops that continue to stand to this day. Beyond its market, Linah is celebrated for its ancient water wells, believed to date back to the time of Prophet Suleiman, and its mud houses that narrate tales from bygone eras, encapsulating the history, art, and culture of Saudi Arabia and its inhabitants.
