The beginning of 2024 has seen a notable surge in the tourism sector of Madinah, with early indicators pointing to a substantial leap forward when compared to the previous year’s figures. A recent economic analysis released by the Madinah Chamber for the initial quarter of 2024 showcases this upward trajectory.
According to the report, there has been a 15.3% rise in tourism-centric enterprises in comparison to the first quarter of the preceding year. Such enterprises, which span the spectrum from lodging facilities to travel consultancies and excursion planners, now account for 2.6% of the total economic dealings registered under the Madinah Chamber’s purview.
