Major Tech Contract Enhances Saudi Arabia's Cultural Tech Scene

A tech enterprise based in Saudi Arabia, Naseej for Technology, has successfully secured a contract with the kingdom’s Ministry of Culture. This partnership, with a total value of SAR 25.92 million, inclusive of VAT, was finalized on November 19, 2023. This collaboration follows the project’s initial award to Naseej on October 4, 2023.

Two Years of Cultural Enhancement

The two-year agreement encompasses a wide array of duties. Naseej for Technology will undertake the cataloging, assessment, conservation, and restoration of artifacts, as well as the provision and installation of essential tools for the care of the ministry’s historical collections. Beyond these tasks, they are also charged with setting up and outfitting storage areas and implementing systems to safeguard and extend the life of these valuable cultural items.

Projected Financial Gains for Naseej

Expected to positively influence its financial outcomes, Naseej for Technology sees this contract as a boon to its revenues in the fiscal years 2024 and 2025. This lucrative deal follows closely behind another major agreement secured in August 2023 with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, amounting to SAR 41.54 million.

Contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Tech Progress

The recent string of contracts indicates Naseej for Technology’s expanding influence within the Saudi tech market. These developments underscore the nation’s dedication to intertwining technology with diverse sectors such as cultural heritage and vocational education. As Saudi Arabia invites global companies to vie for government contracts while establishing regional headquarters in Riyadh, the technological landscape in the country is set for further exciting growth.
