The event also highlighted the potential for partnership and investment that NEOM presents to its stakeholders. An exclusive exhibition named “Discover NEOM: A New Future by Design,” gave attendees a sneak peek into NEOM’s visionary projects, including THE LINE, a 170-km urban development; Oxagon, an industrial revolution; Trojena, a mountainous escape; and Sindalah, an upcoming luxe island retreat in the Red Sea.

Al-Nasr shared his enthusiasm about presenting NEOM’s concrete developments and the extensive investment avenues open to businesses in Hong Kong. He is optimistic about ongoing collaboration with Hong Kong-based partners to fulfill shared objectives for a prosperous future.

Algernon Yau, the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the Hong Kong Government, welcomed the NEOM delegation. He highlighted Hong Kong’s readiness to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s vision as a premiere economy and a nexus for finance, investment, and innovation. Yau emphasized Saudi Arabia’s significance in the Belt and Road Initiative and pointed out Hong Kong’s strengths in professional services and talent, which could support initiatives like NEOM. He reaffirmed the commitment to bolstering relations with Saudi Arabia, aiming for mutual benefits and furthering the Belt and Road Initiative.
