LTIMindtree has inked a deal with the digital and technology arm of Aramco, known as Aramco Digital, to set up a novel IT services entity within Saudi Arabia. This venture is poised to be a beacon of innovation, showcasing groundbreaking digital services and advanced industry 4.0 integration. The initiative is in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, aiming to generate a surge of highly specialized employment opportunities for the Saudi workforce.
The partnership is born out of the Aramco Namaat Industrial Investments Program. Sudhir Chaturvedi, LTIMindtree’s President and Executive Board Member, expressed the company’s alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and enthusiasm for being chosen as a collaborator for the joint enterprise. He highlighted the rapid growth of the KSA and MENA regions in new technology adoption and committed to propelling technology-driven growth in the area. The alliance with Aramco Digital will leverage LTIMindtree’s global proficiencies to catalyze digital metamorphosis across various sectors.
From Aramco’s perspective, Nabil Al Nuaim, Senior Vice President of Digital and Information Technology and a board member of Aramco Digital, emphasized the partnership’s critical role in harnessing digital transformation to foster innovation and sustainability. The venture seeks to localize the IT services sector, catalyze job creation, and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s prosperous future.
Tareq Amin, CEO of Aramco Digital, echoed the excitement about the collaboration. He anticipates that combining Aramco Digital’s business solutions with LTIMindtree’s engineering prowess and customer experience solutions will unlock significant value for the region. This initiative is set to bolster Vision 2030’s goals, providing high-caliber, sustainable benefits to customers and employees, while emphasizing the development of local jobs and expertise with a competitive edge.
