Saudi Legal Sector Embraces Global Talent

Kingdom Welcomes International Legal Experts

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has initiated a program allowing international legal experts to apply for permission to practice within the country. The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has unveiled an electronic service tailored for law firms to register legal consultants who are not Saudi nationals.

This innovative service aims to streamline the process and elevate the professional development and support of the legal sector in Saudi Arabia.

Expansion of Foreign Legal Practice

An initial batch of 15 foreign law firms have secured licenses from the MoJ to operate in Saudi Arabia, with another 15 applications currently under scrutiny.

Additional support for legal professionals is available through the Najiz.sa platform, featuring a dedicated portal for lawyers. This platform provides interactive services and enables the management of personal and professional legal matters.

Registration Procedure for Non-Saudi Legal Consultants:

  1. Access the Najiz.sa platform.
  2. Select the option to ‘Apply for registration of non-Saudi legal consultant’.
  3. Complete the application forms and upload necessary documentation.

The integration of international law professionals into the Saudi legal system marks a significant step in the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing its legal services and promoting a more inclusive professional environment.
