Saudi Arabia and Palestine have agreed to form the inaugural Saudi-Palestinian Business Council to boost trade and investment between the nations.
This decision was made during a meeting in Riyadh between Hassan Al-Huwaizi, head of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, and Mazen Ghanem, the Palestinian ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
Al-Huwaizi emphasized the Saudi private sector’s commitment to supporting Palestinian businesses by facilitating investment in Saudi Arabia and promoting Palestinian products. He assured the federation’s backing for events to showcase these products in collaboration with Saudi chambers of commerce.
Ambassador Ghanem highlighted the meeting’s approval of actionable steps to enhance bilateral trade, including organizing investor meetings, hosting a Palestinian product exhibition in Saudi Arabia, and forming joint committees to achieve these objectives.
