The Saudi Ports Authority, also known as Mawani, recently held a ceremony to acknowledge the accomplishment of critical financial targets set by the Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority. The event recognized the outstanding contributions of various individuals who played a pivotal role in achieving these objectives.
At the ceremony, which featured Mawani’s President, Omar Hariri, and the CEO of the Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority, Abdulrazzaq bin Sobhi Al-Awjan, the authority took the opportunity to conduct an educational event. This initiative was designed to foster an organizational culture that prioritizes expenditure prudence, with input from key players in the transport and logistics sectors. The goal was to raise awareness among Mawani’s workforce, encourage departments to improve their financial efficiency, and showcase success stories that could pave the way for future triumphs.
In line with the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030, the celebration also stressed Mawani’s dedication to government spending efficiency. The authority is committed to delivering high-caliber, sustainable services and strives to meet the Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority’s benchmarks across the board. By doing so, Mawani is contributing to the broader objectives of Vision 2030.
Additionally, Mawani places a strong emphasis on the judicious use and allocation of resources and services, which is essential for maintaining fiscal sustainability and enhancing the quality of projects, assets, and facilities. These efforts are consistent with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS), which aims to bolster the Kingdom’s role as a pivotal logistics hub connecting three continents.
