Frank Hagemeier to Lead Strategic Growth and Development

Siemens Mobility has appointed Frank Hagemeier as the new CEO for Saudi Arabia. Hagemeier, who previously led Siemens Mobility in the Netherlands and China, brings extensive experience to his new role.

As CEO, Hagemeier will oversee strategic planning and business development for Siemens Mobility in Saudi Arabia. His leadership aims to drive growth and solidify the company’s market position.

Léon Soulier, CEO of Siemens Mobility Middle East Africa, expressed confidence in Hagemeier’s appointment, highlighting his operational expertise and leadership skills. Soulier noted, Frank’s experience in international mobility projects and his tenure at Siemens will be invaluable for Saudi Arabia’s ambitious transportation goals.

Hagemeier began his career in aviation with Fokker Aircraft before holding various management roles in transportation. He joined Siemens in 2012 as Mobility CEO for the Netherlands and later served as CEO in China, focusing on high-speed and metro markets. After his term in China, he took on several management positions at Siemens Mobility headquarters in Germany.

Since 2006, Siemens Mobility has been a key player in Saudi Arabia’s transportation infrastructure, including the East-West Rail Line and the Haramain High-Speed Rail project. The company has also contributed to the Al-Mashaaer Al-Mugaddassah Metro line and is currently involved in constructing Lines 1 and 2 for the Riyadh Metro as part of the BACS consortium.
