Boosting Non-Oil Economy Growth

Saudi Arabia's strategy for sustainable industrial expansion

Faisal Al-Ibrahim, the Minister of Economy and Planning, highlighted the 6% growth in non-oil activities over the past three years, aligning with the Kingdom’s strategy to enhance these sectors.

Speaking at the industrial sector incentives launch, Al-Ibrahim credited this growth to decisive governmental actions and political commitment, leading to the development of new sectors such as tourism.

He emphasized that such progress was possible due to the expansion of these industries, which is crucial for the non-oil economy’s future.

The minister pointed out that strategic decisions have strengthened the industrial base, significantly impacting the broader non-oil economy.

Al-Ibrahim stressed the Kingdom’s goal to promote non-oil activities sustainably, launching incentives that encourage private sector dynamism, growth, and competitiveness without increasing dependency.
