WWE Night of Champions Delivers Record Viewership

John Cena, Cody Rhodes, and Jade Cargill shine at Riyadh's blockbuster WWE event

The latest WWE Night of Champions event in Riyadh delivered unexpected moments and record viewership. Fans witnessed John Cena prevent Seth Rollins from cashing in his contract, while Cody Rhodes and Jade Cargill claimed the King and Queen of the Ring titles, securing future championship opportunities at SummerSlam.

The event drew a capacity crowd at Kingdom Arena and achieved a 27% increase in domestic viewership compared to last year’s Saudi-based event. The action-packed show also introduced a new member to the Bloodline faction, with Tala Tonga assisting Solo Sikoa in capturing the United States Championship from Jacob Fatu.

Rhodes’ victory positions him for a likely rematch with Cena at WrestleMania 41, as Cena continues to defend his title in contentious matches. Cargill’s next title challenge will be determined after the upcoming Evolution 2 event, as the women’s division landscape evolves.

WWE’s recent live events in Saudi Arabia have consistently attracted large audiences, with Crown Jewel previously holding the viewership record. Although no additional events are scheduled in Saudi Arabia this year, the Royal Rumble is set to return to Riyadh at the start of next year.
