NEOM Unveils Magna: A New Era in Sustainable Luxury Travel

Magna to Redefine Coastal Luxury Under Saudi Vision 2030

NEOM, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – The NEOM Board of Directors has announced the creation of Magna, a new benchmark in the arena of luxury lifestyle destinations. Nestled along the Gulf of Aqaba, Magna is part of NEOM’s commitment to environmentally friendly tourism and includes the previously introduced high-end destinations such as Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, Aquellum, Zardun, Xaynor, Elanan, Gidori, Treyam, and Jaumur.

Spanning 120 kilometers of breathtaking coastline, these twelve destinations aim to establish unprecedented standards in luxury and sustainable tourism globally. Magna embodies the progressive spirit of Saudi Vision 2030, featuring state-of-the-art technology, avant-garde architecture, and premium facilities that harmoniously integrate with the surrounding nature.

The destinations, each with their own character and attractions, will collectively offer a cohesive and luxurious experience. This synergy is further enhanced by efforts to conserve and restore the local ecosystem, including the area’s indigenous plant and animal life. The development will feature 15 opulent hotels, offering a total of 1,600 hotel rooms, suites, and apartments, in addition to more than 2,500 high-end residences.

Nadhmi Al-Nasr, Chief Executive Officer of NEOM, stated: “Magna represents a fusion of natural splendor and advanced technology, a gem in NEOM’s coastal region. Committed to our pillars of transforming business, conservation, and enhancing quality of life, Magna will significantly contribute to NEOM’s robust tourism infrastructure. This initiative will not only support Saudi Vision 2030’s economic diversification goals but also elevate the Kingdom to a premier position in the global luxury tourism landscape.”

Magna is poised to bolster the Saudi economy by generating 15,000 jobs in tourism, leisure, and hospitality. By 2030, it is expected to add SAR2.6 billion to the nation’s GDP, house 14,500 residents, and attract over 300,000 visitors each year. The project offers a unique proposition for investors and developers, with a commitment to sustainability at every phase, from design and construction to ongoing management.

As the latest addition to NEOM’s expanding mega-project in northwestern Saudi Arabia, Magna joins the ranks of other regions like Sindalah, THE LINE, Trojena, and Oxagon, marking another milestone in the country’s ambitious development plans.
