Surj Sports and Enfield Forge Strategic Alliance

Aims to revolutionize global sports investments and infrastructure

Saudi Arabia’s Surj Sports Investment Teams Up with Enfield Investment

Saudi Arabia’s Surj Sports Investment Co. has forged a strategic alliance with Enfield Investment Partners from the US to broaden their reach in the global sports industry.

This partnership aligns with Enfield’s recent unveiling of a $4 billion fund dedicated to sports investments.

The collaboration will target key sectors such as clubs, leagues, media rights, and sports infrastructure.

Founded in 2023, Surj focuses on nurturing the global sports sector and enhancing the sports ecosystem in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

Surj aims to invest directly in sports activities to boost fan engagement and regional participation.

Surj CEO Danny Townsend expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting it as a pivotal step in expanding Surj’s influence in the American market.

Jake Silverstein, EIP’s co-founder and chairman, emphasized the joint vision for the sports industry’s future.

EIP plans to establish a regional office in Riyadh, supplementing its Washington operations, to support growth in Saudi Arabia and internationally.

This agreement underscores Saudi Arabia’s rising prominence in global sports, highlighted by its successful bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
