Aramco Digital Company and Groq have announced a partnership to create the world’s largest AI inferencing data center in Saudi Arabia.
This collaboration is a major step in advancing Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation, aiming to position the Kingdom as a global leader in AI and cloud computing.
The announcement was made during the Global AI Summit in Riyadh.
The new data center will support Aramco Digital’s goal of using advanced technologies to enhance operations and align with Kingdom Vision 2030. By integrating Groq’s AI and machine-learning infrastructure with Aramco Digital’s strategic initiatives, the partnership aims to transform data processing and analytics in various sectors.
By the end of 2024, the facility will process 5.28 million tokens per second, increasing to 53 million tokens per second by 2025, setting a new industry benchmark and introducing Groq’s advanced technology to Saudi Arabia.
