At the cutting-edge technology event LEAP 2024, held under the aegis of Prince Mishaal bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and the Minister of Transport and Logistics Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Jahez has made a significant move in the logistics sector by introducing a fleet of ten autonomous delivery vehicles. This initiative is a part of the Transport General Authority’s (TGA) pioneering Regulatory Sandbox Program aimed at nurturing innovation in modern transportation.
The newly launched self-navigating vehicles are designed to travel at speeds up to 7 kilometers per hour, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery services. Equipped with sophisticated navigational technology, including GPS systems, these vehicles come with an array of five sensors at the front and back to navigate obstacles effectively. With a substantial battery life that lasts up to 12 hours, they are capable of handling up to 19 liters of cargo, showcasing a blend of endurance and capacity.
