Masaei Women's Association Clinches Medals at ITEX

Four innovative minds from the Masaei Women’s Charitable Association have recently soared to success at the International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) in Malaysia. Their creative contributions to the realm of technology and invention garnered them an impressive haul of two gold and two silver medals, signaling a momentous occasion for Saudi intellectual accomplishments.

Among the victorious inventors were Taif Al-Fifi, who developed the “Supportive Standing Device with Automatic Brakes”; Ritaj Al-Rashidi, the mind behind “Smart Home Technology”; Maram Al-Osaimi, with her innovative “Fire Extinguishing System” that intelligently identifies the type of fire for effective intervention; and Intisar Derbah, who engineered a “Fuel Tank Control and Regulation Device.”

Their inventions have been duly registered with the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, a testament to the nation’s commitment to fostering an environment where innovation can flourish.

This laudable achievement is in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, a strategic framework aimed at cultivating a culture of innovation and progress within the Kingdom. The success of these four women at a prestigious international event such as ITEX is a clear indication that the vision’s goals are coming to fruition, enhancing Saudi Arabia’s standing in the global arena of technology and innovation.
