SDAIA and PwC Middle East Embark on AI Research Venture

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has forged an alliance with PwC Middle East, encapsulated in a memorandum of understanding designed to enhance research and experimentation in cutting-edge AI technologies. This partnership aims to tailor AI models to comprehend and process the Arabic language, giving rise to a state-of-the-art virtual AI laboratory and a center dedicated to generative AI experiments, known as GenAI.

Representatives from both entities sealed the agreement, with Raed bin Faleh Al-Faleh, CEO of Business Development, signing for SDAIA, and Fadi Al-Qamati, General Manager, representing PwC Middle East.

The collaboration was announced amid the LEAP24 event, a notable technology gathering held from March 4 to 7, where SDAIA participated as a key strategic partner in AI. The event took place at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, located in the Malham area of Riyadh.
