Princess Haifa Encourages Saudi Youth at Misk Forum
Saudi Arabia is fostering an environment for youth empowerment through its Vision 2030 program, as highlighted by Princess Haifa bint Mohammed Al-Saud at the Misk Global Forum in Riyadh. She urged young Saudis to embrace technology and rely on credible information sources, emphasizing the importance of patience and perseverance in achieving success.
Vision 2030 aims to transform the Kingdom, providing youth with job opportunities and technology access. Princess Haifa remarked on Saudi Arabia’s potential for progress, noting its unprecedented regional and international transformation.
The Kingdom’s efforts in job creation are yielding results, with unemployment among Saudi nationals dropping to 7.1%. Notably, Saudi women’s unemployment rate fell to 12.8%, marking a significant improvement.
The Misk Global Forum, themed “By Youth for Youth,” gathered young leaders from around the world to foster dialogue and collaboration. The Misk Foundation, founded by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, supports youth development through initiatives in creativity and innovation.
Further, Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb announced substantial investments to boost tourism and create jobs for youth and women. A PwC report highlighted the Middle East’s rapid transformation driven by a youthful population eager for change, with organizations like Misk Foundation supporting sustainable development goals across various sectors.
