New Riyadh Office to Advance KSA's Global Logistics Ambitions

A global logistics powerhouse, Aramex, has recently fortified its operations within Saudi Arabia by launching a new regional headquarters in Riyadh. This expansion is a strategic move to advance the logistics sector in line with the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030 blueprint.

The establishment of this new office is expected to not only bolster Aramex’s service delivery to emerging and current businesses but also to enhance the logistic framework within the Kingdom, propelling Saudi Arabia closer to its objective of becoming an eminent global logistics hub. Furthermore, Aramex’s innovative approach will support the digital enhancement goals set by Vision 2030.

Othman Aljeda, CEO of Aramex, expressed enthusiasm over the inauguration, highlighting the company’s dedication to facilitating the rapid evolution of Saudi Arabia’s logistics and infrastructure. Emphasizing the regional office as a symbol of Aramex’s ambition, Aljeda anticipates the location to be a catalyst for unlocking new business opportunities in the Kingdom, reflecting a deep-rooted confidence in the nation’s economic prospects.

With a longstanding partnership with Saudi Arabian government and business entities, Aramex envisions the new headquarters as a springboard for pioneering projects that promise significant economic benefits. The company is also committed to nurturing talent and cultivating the necessary skills to further the Kingdom’s development initiatives outlined in Vision 2030.

Samer Marei, VP – Regional Headquarter at Aramex, remarked on the expansion as a key strategic initiative. The inauguration marks Aramex’s leadership in delivering cutting-edge logistics solutions and exceptional customer service, which underscores their pledge to propel the Saudi logistics sector towards Vision 2030.

Launched in February 2021, the Regional Headquarters initiative in Saudi Arabia is designed to entice multinational corporations to establish their headquarters in the Kingdom. It aims to transform it into a dominant commercial and investment hub for the MENA region. The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Investment (MISA) and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC).
