With an eye towards enhancing the logistics landscape and supporting both existing and emerging businesses, Aramex, a leading player in the global logistics and transportation sector, has established its new regional office in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. This move is strategically aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 roadmap, which aims to revolutionize various economic sectors.

Othman Aljeda, the Chief Executive Officer of Aramex, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, We are delighted to inaugurate our brand new regional headquarters in Riyadh and lead a bold new chapter in supporting the dynamic transformation taking place across the logistics and infrastructure segment across Saudi Arabia. This strategic decision demonstrates Aramex’s long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia and its confidence in the Kingdom’s economic future. Aljeda also emphasized his eagerness to collaborate with local stakeholders to bolster Saudi Arabia’s global standing in the logistics arena.

Samer Marei, the Vice President and Regional Headquarter at Aramex, highlighted that the expansion within Saudi Arabia is a critical area of focus as the logistics and transportation sector experiences rapid evolution throughout the region. With this inauguration, Aramex is proud to take the lead in bringing state-of-the-art logistics solutions, advanced technology and superior customer service to support our clients across the Kingdom and beyond, he said, reinforcing Aramex’s commitment to propelling the nation’s logistics sector in line with Vision 2030 objectives.

The initiative to establish regional headquarters within Saudi Arabia was first revealed in February 2021. Its goal is to entice multinational corporations to domicile their main offices in the Kingdom, thereby cementing its status as a preeminent hub for commerce, industry, and investment in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This initiative is backed by a partnership between the Ministry of Investment (MISA) and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), offering a suite of benefits and high-caliber support services to participating entities.
