Asharq Business Expands Market Coverage

New shows and extended hours to meet growing demand for economic news

Asharq Business with Bloomberg, a prominent source of business news in the Arab world, is expanding its programming due to increased daytime viewership.

As part of Asharq Network, the channel will now offer extended market coverage from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM Saudi time on weekdays, with a strong focus on Saudi Arabia.

Nabeel Alkhatib, General Manager of Asharq News, highlighted the network’s dedication to delivering valuable content to its audience.

This growth underscores the increasing demand for trustworthy economic news and in-depth analysis, Alkhatib noted, referring to the rise in viewership.

The new programming aims to solidify Asharq Business with Bloomberg’s status as a premier source for market news and insights.

Among the new shows is The First Session, hosted by Rima Najjar, which will air from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saudi time, focusing on the opening of Saudi markets along with updates on Gulf and Egyptian markets. Najjar is known for her interviews with top business leaders.

Another addition, Market Radar, hosted by Nour Amache, will broadcast from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Saudi time, covering market updates from Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, Egypt, Europe, as well as commodities and currencies. Market Updates, airing twice daily, will feature summaries of Saudi and Gulf markets, oil sector insights, and updates on Egyptian and European markets, presented by Emad Al-Muqbil and Mohammed Adel.

Weekly programming will include Asharq Businessweek, hosted by Nadia Bsat, airing every Friday at 2:00 PM KSA time, with a rerun on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Riad Hamade, Director of Business News at Asharq News, expressed excitement about the expanded lineup, emphasizing the channel’s commitment to providing data-driven insights.

Additionally, new segments will cover broader topics such as sports business, entertainment, real estate, and health. Popular shows like Markets of the East, Tech+, Taqa+, and Asia Report will continue with enhanced features and extended coverage.

The network’s digital and social media platforms will align with on-screen content, offering real-time updates, breaking news, and market alerts.

Asharq Business with Bloomberg remains focused on delivering relevant and reliable economic news to help audiences understand market dynamics and make informed decisions.
