A recent technology partnership between Sabre Corporation, a provider of travel software, and Taiba Investments, a prominent hospitality company in Saudi Arabia, marks a significant development in the hotel management sector.

The deal was formalized at the Arabian Travel Market, a notable B2B travel exhibition in Dubai, taking place from May 6 to May 9, 2024.

Central to this collaboration is the deployment of the SynXis Central Reservation System (CRS) by Sabre Hospitality across Taiba Investment’s hotel brands, including Makarem and Nur. SynXis CRS is a state-of-the-art cloud-based commerce and distribution platform designed to aid hoteliers in managing their inventory and pricing while simultaneously boosting visibility across multiple distribution channels.

Taiba Investments is set to leverage the platform to refine its booking procedures and fortify its distribution approach, expecting to offer guests a superior service starting from the initial booking phase.

Taiba Investments Company’s chief hospitality operations officer, Hassan Ahdab, stated, “Our partnership with Sabre is a testament to Taiba Investments’ strategic focus on redefining Saudi hospitality services by adopting innovative solutions that enhance our operational capabilities and enrich our guests’ experiences.”

Frank Trampert, Sabre Hospitality’s senior vice president and global managing director of community sales, commented on the collaboration, saying, “Through the cloud-based SynXis platform, we are eager to support Taiba Investments’ vision of expanding its brand presence, enhancing operational efficiencies, and catering specifically to the nuanced needs of the Saudi market.”

This partnership is expected to play a pivotal role in modernizing the hospitality industry in Saudi Arabia, integrating the nation’s rich heritage with advanced technological solutions. Taiba Investments boasts an expansive portfolio that includes 20 hotels, 13 residences, and six commercial centers across the country.

The initiation of this alliance follows Sabre Hospitality’s announcement of a multi-year renewal of its partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts earlier in May 2024.
