Both entities will work closely to explore and implement direct-current charging systems for EVs across the residential and commercial projects led by ROSHN, extending throughout the Kingdom.

Road to an Electric Future

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) between ROSHN and EVIQ marks a significant stride towards fostering a sustainable environment and adhering to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. This vision aims to have electric vehicles constitute 30 percent of the traffic in Riyadh.

ROSHN Group’s CEO, David Grover, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with EVIQ, noting that it highlights ROSHN’s commitment to pioneering technologies and exceptional partnerships. Grover emphasized the importance of establishing a comprehensive EV ecosystem, starting with ROSHN Front in Riyadh, which has already implemented EVIQ’s first public EV charging station.

EVIQ’s CEO, Mohammad Baker Gazzaz, highlighted the shared mission of both companies to enhance the quality of life in Saudi Arabia. The integration of EVIQ’s advanced charging technologies with ROSHN’s expansive community and property developments is expected to create a network of high-speed chargers conveniently located across the Kingdom, promoting a positive experience for EV users and supporting the country’s EV adoption goals.

The partnership also celebrates the launch of the Kingdom’s premier fast-charging public site at ROSHN Front. This strategic initiative aims to combine the expertise of both parties to strengthen the infrastructure and support systems essential for the widespread use of EVs in the region.

This alliance with EVIQ is in line with ROSHN’s vision to set a new standard in the real estate sector through innovation, sustainability, and integrity.
