Pizza Inn, the Dallas-based pizza buffet chain, is poised to expand its international footprint with a significant foray into the Saudi Arabian market. The chain has cemented a partnership with the Blessings Basket Company for Serving Food to launch 50 new outlets across the kingdom.

Marking the beginning of this expansion, two new Pizza Inn locations will open their doors in Saudi Arabia this month. This move is set to dramatically increase Pizza Inn’s global presence, which currently includes 110 locations within the United States and 19 internationally.

Brandon Solano, CEO of Pizza Inn’s parent company, Rave Restaurant Group, expressed confidence in the partnership with Blessings Basket Company, emphasizing the opportunity to enhance the brand’s presence in Saudi Arabia and to introduce Pizza Inn to an expanding market.

Saudi Arabia’s economy has been experiencing robust growth, driven by diversification efforts beyond its traditional oil sector. With a projected economic growth of 5% in 2023, as indicated by the International Monetary Fund, the country’s reliance on oil has significantly decreased, representing just over 20% of its GDP since 2017, compared to nearly half in the preceding five years.

Pizza Inn has witnessed a resurgence in sales recently, with consumers returning to buffet-style dining. The company reported a 6.8% increase in same-store sales for the fiscal first quarter ended September 24.
