The Saudi Export Development Authority, through its “Made in Saudi Program,” has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Nahdi Medical Company.
This collaboration aims to enhance the visibility of national products in Al Nahdi’s extensive pharmacy network, a key player in Saudi Arabia’s pharmaceutical retail sector.
The agreement’s signing in Riyadh also introduced the first “Saudi-Made” shelves in Al Nahdi pharmacies, showcasing locally manufactured health and medical supplies. This initiative encourages consumers to opt for local goods and supports the global growth of Saudi exports.
Eng. Abdulrahman Althukair, CEO of SAUDI EXPORTS, stated, This strategic collaboration aligns with our commitment to foster effective partnerships with both public and private sectors. These partnerships aim to enhance the position of Saudi products and facilitate their market access locally and internationally.
He emphasized that this partnership underscores SAUDI EXPORTS’s dedication to economic diversification and supports Saudi Vision 2030 by empowering local products and promoting their global exports.
The MoU marks the beginning of various national projects in the healthcare sector, focusing on localizing pharmaceutical industries and expanding the distribution of medical supplies and health products within and beyond Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, efforts will be made to raise consumer awareness about high-quality national products, offer training and workshops related to the Made in Saudi program, and participate in exhibitions and events.
These initiatives collectively aim to drive national economic development and enhance the perception of Saudi products and services both domestically and internationally.
