At the Arabian Travel Market, a premier B2B travel event in Dubai, Sabre Corporation, a prominent travel software provider, has announced a technological partnership with Taiba Investments, a leading hospitality firm based in Saudi Arabia. The exhibition, which plays a pivotal role in the travel sector, took place from May 6 to May 9, 2024.
The collaboration signifies the adoption of Sabre Hospitality’s SynXis platform within Taiba Investments’ array of hotel brands, including the esteemed Makarem and Nur. The SynXis Central Reservation System (CRS), with its cloud-based infrastructure, is designed to assist hoteliers in managing their inventory and pricing strategies, and also in augmenting their visibility across multiple distribution channels.
Taiba Investments is set to enhance its booking procedures and reinforce its distribution approach by integrating Sabre’s SynXis platform. The tool is expected to facilitate a superior service experience for guests, commencing from the initial booking phase.
“Our partnership with Sabre is a testament to Taiba Investments’ strategic focus on redefining Saudi hospitality services by adopting innovative solutions that enhance our operational capabilities and enrich our guests’ experiences,” stated Hassan Ahdab, Chief Hospitality Operations Officer at Taiba Investments. “We look forward to implementing the SynXis CRS across our portfolio to supplement our distribution strategy and ultimately offer our guests more personalised and seamless experiences.”
Frank Trampert, Senior Vice President and Global Managing Director of Community Sales at Sabre Hospitality, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. “Through the cloud-based SynXis platform, we are eager to support Taiba Investments’ vision of expanding its brand presence, enhancing operational efficiencies, and catering specifically to the nuanced needs of the Saudi market. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to revolutionise the hospitality industry with cutting-edge technology while integrating the rich heritage and customs of Saudi Arabia.”
The portfolio of Taiba Investments boasts 20 hotels, 13 residences, and six commercial centres, all strategically placed throughout the nation. This alliance follows closely on the heels of Sabre Hospitality’s earlier announcement in May 2024 about the renewal of its multi-year agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, based in the United States.
