The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has recently entered into a strategic collaboration with the Project Management Institute’s Saudi Arabia Chapter (PMI). This alliance, encapsulated in a memorandum of understanding, is set to bolster the synergies between the two entities and lay the groundwork for a mutually beneficial partnership.
The ceremonial signing took place amidst the influential Global Project Management Forum, with SASO’s Deputy Governor for Business Support, Eng. Fahd Alkuaik, and the PMI President of the Saudi Arabia Chapter, Badr Burshaid, officiating the agreement.
The core objective of this MoU is to enhance the skill level and qualifications of individuals involved in project management roles throughout the Kingdom. Additionally, the agreement emphasizes the importance of knowledge exchange in the field, which will be facilitated through reciprocal visits and interactions amongst project management professionals.
