Princess Reema expressed her dedication to furthering the Kingdom’s impactful participation at the WEF. She is set to facilitate the exchange of insights and strategies pertinent to overcoming international challenges.

With a particular focus on showcasing Saudi Arabia’s advancements in various sectors—including political, economic, environmental, technological, and innovation—the ambassador is poised to enhance the Kingdom’s narrative at the global event.

Parallel to these efforts, Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Al-Swaha met with Doreen Bogdan-Martin, the secretary-general of the International Telecommunication Union, on January 15. Their discussions were centered on fostering cooperation and promoting digital inclusion, while also touching upon the importance of developing alliances that reinforce the digital economy’s growth.

The exchanges also delved into the promising prospects of generative artificial intelligence and the significance of nurturing national digital competencies, as well as bolstering digital entrepreneurship.

To further advance innovation and the digital economy, Al-Swaha engaged with top-level executives from renowned global technology and innovation companies. The dialogues revolved around pioneering technologies in cloud computing, generative AI, and the enhancement of digital skills among Saudis, particularly in emerging areas like digital content localization.

Moreover, the minister’s meetings with industry leaders such as Alexander Wang, founder and CEO of Scale AI, and Borje Ekholm, president and CEO of the Ericsson Group, focused on forging partnerships, exchanging expertise, and encouraging the growth of the digital economy and innovation.
