In Saudi Arabia’s northwest, the ambitious $500 billion NEOM project progresses with the revelation of Norlana, an innovative active lifestyle community. This newest phase is set to redefine the essence of modern, active living within the region.
NEOM has announced that Norlana will be centered around sports, health, and well-being, offering a sustainable and majestic environment for its residents and visitors. The project aims to merge luxury with an ecological ethos, in line with NEOM’s dedication to conservation. Norlana is designed to be in harmony with its coastal surroundings, promising an ultra-luxury living experience that seamlessly integrates nature and advanced technology.
Strategically positioned along the Gulf of Aqaba coastline, Norlana is poised to host a community of 3,000 residents who will have access to a blend of high-end luxury and cutting-edge technology. This initiative is paving the way for a new standard in sustainable modern living.
With 711 residential units, including grand mansions, spacious apartments, and beachfront villas set amidst natural dunes, Norlana is built to connect its inhabitants with the tranquility of nature. The development also boasts a modern 120-berth marina intended as a global superyacht hub, complete with water taxi services to enhance the mobility of residents and guests. The members-only superyacht club will cater to boating aficionados with upscale dining and service against a backdrop of waterfront panoramas.
Recreational facilities within Norlana are extensive, featuring an 18-hole golf course surrounded by rugged mountains and an equestrian and polo center equipped with top-tier amenities. Moreover, the community will provide a plethora of water sports activities, such as sailing and diving, to enrich the lifestyle of its inhabitants.
Norlana’s introduction follows NEOM’s recent unveiling of other sustainable tourism destinations like Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, and Utamo, which are also situated in the Gulf of Aqaba and promote eco-friendly tourism and residential experiences.
