A high-ranking team from Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation sector, led by Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, is set to embark on an important international journey. This tour will span several key global locations, including Singapore, China, and the United States, from February 19 to February 29.
The delegation’s mission is to engage in dialogues concerning mutual interests in air travel and economic development. This initiative is a step towards achieving the goals outlined in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The strategy involves a significant investment of $100 billion with the aim of expanding passenger capacity to 330 million by the year 2030, thereby making the Kingdom a leading aviation hub in the Middle East.
Launching in Singapore, the delegation will participate in the Changi Aviation Summit and the Singapore Airshow. The itinerary will then proceed to Beijing, Zhengzhou, and Shanghai in China. The tour will conclude in the United States with visits to Seattle and Anaheim, where the delegation will attend the HAI Heli Expo.
Throughout this journey, Al-Duailej is slated to hold bilateral talks with various civil aviation authorities, including those in Singapore, China, and the United States. These interactions will serve as a platform for showcasing Saudi Arabia’s latest advancements in aviation and the potential opportunities arising from the execution of the Saudi Aviation Strategy.
Additionally, the Saudi representatives will engage with prominent figures and key players in the aviation industry through roundtable discussions, further highlighting the country’s endeavors and prospects within the sector.
