Eng. Faisal Al-Qahtani, the Operations Chief at the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), recently engaged in strategic discussions with Dr. Thomas Jorgensen, a high-ranking European Union official, at the SFD’s main office in the Saudi capital.
The dialogue between the two parties delved into the latest trends in both regional and international commerce and economic matters. Additionally, they explored areas of shared interest to further strengthen their collaborative ties. Dr. Jorgensen had the opportunity to immerse himself in an interactive exhibit that shed light on the pivotal development initiatives undertaken by the SFD across the globe. The presentation underscored the long-term benefits of these ventures on societal advancement and financial well-being in the beneficiary nations.
With a legacy dating back to 1975, the SFD has been instrumental in catalyzing progress in critical sectors by providing financial support to development projects and endeavors. Throughout its nearly five decades of operation, the fund has executed substantial financial agreements, bolstering more than 800 projects and development schemes in over a hundred countries in the developing world.
