The ‘Made in Saudi’ program, spearheaded by the Saudi Export Development Authority, has been honored with a bronze award in the ‘Marketing via Digital Media’ category at the prestigious MMA SMARTIES International Awards. This accolade is a testament to the program’s success in leveraging digital platforms to craft a cohesive and impactful brand narrative.
An esteemed panel of marketing specialists and agency leaders from around the globe, who evaluate various performance indicators, bestowed this recognition. The MMA, an exclusive association for the marketing sector, merges the talents of marketers, tech firms, and vendors. It boasts a membership exceeding 800 corporate entities and operates 14 regional offices internationally.
The program’s second showcase, dubbed the ‘Made in Saudi Arabia’ exhibition, garnered significant attention from the press, amassing over a million views and in excess of 18,000 social media engagements. The event was featured by more than 40 news platforms.
Highlighting over 100 domestic companies, the exhibition played a pivotal role in the establishment of upwards of 60 partnerships and memoranda of understanding. Its objective was to immerse visitors in the depth of national industries, thereby nurturing a sense of loyalty and demand for locally-made goods among both local and global consumers.
