John Pagano, the CEO of Red Sea Global, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, With Almosafer’s support, we will help travelers discover just how special this part of the world is, from the pristine coastline and breathtaking coral reefs to the stunning dunescapes and wadis. He further emphasized the commitment to diversify travel options along the Red Sea coast to cater to various traveler demographics.

The agreement between the two entities entails joint marketing initiatives to acquaint travelers with the unique experiences available in the Red Sea and AMAALA regions.

As part of the Kingdom’s economic diversification strategy, tourism development is key. The goal is to reduce reliance on oil revenues and the National Tourism Strategy is targeting 150 million visitors by 2030, aiming to generate 1.6 million jobs in the process.

Muzzammil Ahussain, CEO of Almosafer, highlighted the partnership’s alignment with their vision to revolutionize luxury travel and elevate Saudi Arabia as a premier luxury tourism destination. He expressed excitement over using Almosafer’s extensive network and expertise to establish these areas as paragons of unique luxury tourism.

Upon their completion in 2030, the Red Sea and AMAALA projects, featuring 79 hotels, are expected to inject SR33 billion (approximately $8.79 billion) annually into Saudi Arabia’s economy.

In a related development, Red Sea Global also inked an agreement with Saudia, the national airline, to optimize travel experiences for Red Sea Global’s workforce. This partnership will grant employees and associated personnel access to exclusive discounts and corporate rates with Saudia, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Saudia’s chief commercial officer, Arved Von Zur Muehlen, expressed excitement about the collaboration with Red Sea Global, highlighting how it aligns with Saudia’s dedication to supporting Saudi Arabia’s economic goals and establishing the Kingdom as a leading global tourism destination.
