HotelRunner, a trailblazer in hospitality and travel technologies, has joined forces with Alesayi Hospitality Company (AHC) under the auspices of the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), signing a Memorandum of Understanding to stimulate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s travel ecosystem with a focus on data, AI, and automation.

Under the spotlight of STA’s exhibit at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai on May 7th, HotelRunner and AHC finalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that sets the stage for groundbreaking advancements within the Saudi travel sector. This collaboration is set to fortify the country’s tourism industry, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to diversify the economy and improve community welfare.

The alliance of HotelRunner and AHC, endorsed by the STA, is anticipated to be instrumental in redefining the Kingdom’s travel and hospitality industry. Both organizations are committed to the transformative aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030, endeavoring to create an innovative, sustainable, and interconnected travel economy.

HotelRunner’s co-founder and managing partner, Ali Beklen, expressed confidence in innovative technology as a catalyst for unveiling new prospects. He regards the partnership as a strategic step in building a robust travel economy in Saudi Arabia. Complementing his views, Arden Agopyan, also a co-founder and managing partner at HotelRunner, highlighted their ambition to establish a vigorous travel ecosystem that nurtures innovation, cooperation, and sustainable growth.

Hatem Alesayi, the Deputy CEO of Alesayi Hospitality Company, reinforced this outlook, acknowledging the partnership’s transformative impact. He noted the collaboration’s capacity to elevate Saudi Arabia’s tourism offerings and fulfill the goals of Vision 2030, utilizing HotelRunner’s technology and AHC’s regional expertise.

The MoU outlines plans for HotelRunner and Alesayi Hospitality Company to provide state-of-the-art technological infrastructure to hotels, travel agencies, and tourism professionals across the Kingdom, enabling a shift from local to global operations and promoting Saudi Arabia as a forward-thinking travel destination.

HotelRunner operates as a comprehensive SaaS platform offering sales, operations, and distribution management services to accommodations and travel agencies worldwide. It has established itself as an esteemed partner to various global travel and hospitality brands, including Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, and Google Hotel Ads, among others.
