This season is shaping up to be the largest in the series’ history, with a lineup of 17 races set to take place across 11 distinguished cities.
The upcoming season sees Saudi Arabia making a grand return to the championship with an all-new circuit in Diriyah, marking the kingdom’s seventh year of participation in the series.
Racing enthusiasts can anticipate the Diriyah double-header events slated for February 14 and 15, although the exact location of the new track remains under wraps for now.
For Season 11, we’re taking electric racing to the next level and doing things never been done before in motorsport,
stated Jeff Dodds, CEO of Formula E. Our world-leading GEN3 EVO will debut in front of hundreds of millions of fans around the globe, while adding two brand new locations and combinations of double-headers to grow our sport further.
Another first for the championship is the double-header event in Monaco, a momentous occasion for the Principality in the realm of motorsport. Additionally, Tokyo’s successful inaugural E-Prix will now feature a double-header, capitalizing on the initial event’s popularity.
The championship will commence in São Paulo on December 7th, 2024, following pre-season testing in Valencia. This season will also introduce the highly anticipated GEN3 EVO race car, boasting a 0-60mph acceleration time of just 1.82 seconds, significantly outpacing its predecessor.
New tracks are also on the horizon with Miami making a comeback since its first season, this time at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, and Jakarta rejoining the roster after a year’s absence.
