At the prestigious World Energy Congress in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, ongoing from April 22 to 25, the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) represents Saudi Arabia, highlighting its influence and dedication in the global energy landscape.
Participation in this high-profile event underscores KACARE’s commitment to the exchange of knowledge and fostering connections with energy experts and aficionados across the globe.
On April 24, Eng. Aiman Mufti, who spearheads Human Capacity Building and Strategy at KACARE, will engage in a session titled ‘Cities in The Lead: Place-Based Action’. Additionally, the Atlas portal project, a pivotal initiative involving a feasibility study on renewable resources, will be showcased, which is instrumental in supporting and propelling forward the Kingdom’s future energy endeavors.
The Saudi pavilion at the congress is set to feature two visual presentations. The first delves into the strategic and initiative-driven approach towards human capability enhancement, crucial for cultivating a prepared workforce within Saudi Arabia’s energy domain. The second highlights the activities of the renewable energy management center, demonstrating its sophisticated data analytics and forecasting capabilities, in synergy with various governmental bodies and private entities within the Kingdom.
Looking ahead, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Energy is poised to host the 27th World Energy Congress in Riyadh, from October 26 to 29, 2026, further cementing Saudi Arabia’s position as a pivotal player in the energy sector.
