LuLu Hypermarket, one of Saudi Arabia’s favorite shopping destinations, is gearing up for a 36-day celebration to mark its 14th anniversary. The retail giant recently announced its plans during a press conference at Riyadh Boulevard, with the announcement also displayed on giant video screens at the venue.

To commemorate this milestone, LuLu Hypermarket has prepared a bonanza of 1,400 valuable gifts worth SR2 million ($533,300) for its customers. The gifts range from VVIP tickets to highly anticipated football matches to Apple phones and tablets, TV sets, AirPods, Sony PS5 consoles, laptops, and other electronic goods like refrigerators, microwave ovens, and washing machines. Additionally, grocery hampers will also be given away as part of the celebration. Surprise winners will be selected across LuLu’s hypermarkets in the Kingdom from November 26 to December 31.

During the press conference, LuLu Hypermarket paid tribute to its dedicated staff by inviting Basher Al-Bish, the oldest Saudi national employed by the group for 17 years, and his son Yusuff to cut the 14th anniversary cake. Al-Bish, who has been with LuLu since its inception in Saudi Arabia, expressed his pride in being part of the LuLu family and his admiration for LuLu Group Chairman Yusuffali M.A., whom he named his son after.

In addition to the exciting gifts, LuLu Hypermarket is offering a range of promotions to delight its customers. The anniversary promotion includes 14 deals from 14 “Big Brands,” super-value offers on essential items such as rice, oil, and sugar, in-store promotions, live demonstrations, hourly offers, and deals on selected “Products of the Day.” Shoppers can also take advantage of affordable prices on branded laptops, tablets, smartwatches, mobile phones, high-end audio devices, printing consumables, and accessories to upgrade their electronic devices.

With a strong commitment to Saudi Arabia’s progress, LuLu Group currently employs 4,500 Saudi nationals across its 33 stores in the Kingdom. Shehim Mohammed, the director of LuLu Hypermarkets Saudi Arabia, attributed the success of LuLu Hypermarket to the trust and recognition of its Saudi Arabian customer base. Mohammed emphasized that the anniversary celebration is a way for LuLu to express its gratitude to all its customers in the Kingdom.

LuLu Hypermarket’s 14th anniversary celebration is a testament to its dedication to providing exceptional customer care, quality products, and affordable prices.
