The Madinah Region Development Authority (MRDA) took part in the prestigious International Tourism Trade Fair 2024 (ITB Berlin), which took place in Berlin, Germany from March 5th to 7th. The MRDA aimed to showcase the rich historical tapestry and the burgeoning tourism and investment prospects of Madinah.
MRDA’s exhibit space was a window into Madinah’s storied past, featuring displays about the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, the region’s significant archaeological sites, and the civil script’s enduring legacy. Visitors were also treated to traditional Arabic coffee served by hosts adorned in Hijazi attire.
Renowned for being a key event in the global tourism industry, ITB Berlin annually draws a multitude of tourism and travel agencies from across the globe, making it an ideal platform for regions like Madinah to present their cultural and historical jewels to an international audience.
