MDLBEAST, known for the XP Music Futures Conference in Saudi Arabia, is introducing an Artist Management Bootcamp through its new MDLBEAST Foundation. This foundation focuses on fostering a music culture rooted in humanity and innovation.
This bootcamp, described as a “transformative program,” aims to nurture the next generation of artist managers in the MENA region. It will be held virtually from November 10-14 and 17-21, 2024, offering participants essential skills to thrive in the competitive music industry.
The curriculum covers crucial aspects of artist management, including branding, partnerships, industry structure, and revenue streams. The program is delivered through classroom sessions, mentorship from industry professionals, and interactive discussions. Additionally, topics like music publishing, intellectual property, live music, merchandise, and cutting-edge music technology will be addressed.
MDLBEAST aims to develop well-rounded managers capable of navigating the complexities of the modern music industry. The bootcamp will feature mentors such as Pirlanta Touba, Grace Russo, Cristiana Votta, Karima Damir, Carlo-Alberto Cavalloti, and Dan Gray, who will guide participants through the program.
This initiative underscores MDLBEAST’s commitment to supporting the MENA music industry by nurturing skilled artist managers. It aligns with their broader mission to enrich the region’s music landscape through educational opportunities.
Aspiring managers with 0-3 years of experience, industry knowledge, and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Business or a related field are encouraged to apply by September 7, 2024. Successful participants will be invited to the XP Music Futures conference in December 2024 to receive their certificates.
The XP Music Futures conference will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 5-7, 2024. The 2023 edition featured over 190 speakers and attracted thousands of attendees, including notable global and regional artists and industry figures.
MDLBEAST, founded after the launch of its flagship festival SOUNDSTORM in 2019, now operates under three divisions: XP Music Futures, MDLBEAST PRESENTS, and the MDLBEAST Record Label.
