Unprecedented Clash of Titans Set for Riyadh Season

The entertainment landscape is buzzing with anticipation as Riyadh prepares to host a groundbreaking mixed martial arts (MMA) event. The spectacle, named “Riyadh Season”, is set to take place on February 24, featuring a formidable lineup where champions from the Professional Fighters League (PFL) will go head-to-head with their Bellator counterparts. The Kingdom Arena is expected to be the epicenter of this high-octane clash.

Chairman Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Al-Sheikh of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) expressed his excitement over the event. He highlighted the significance of this global spectacle, stating, We are pleased to host this unprecedented event in Riyadh Season which will witness super thrilling confrontations and open new horizons in martial arts as the PFL Champions vs Bellator Champions is the world’s largest show of its kind.

The historic fight card boasts four co-main events, pitting current PFL Champions against Bellator Champions. Additionally, there will be two intriguing fights featuring former title contenders from both leagues. Fans around the world can tune in to these battles via the live sports streaming service, DAZN.

The excitement intensifies with a pay-per-view (PPV) Super Fight event featuring seven matchups between current and former champions and title challengers from both PFL and Bellator. This will also be available on DAZN and ESPN+PPV, starting at 11:00 pm Riyadh time. Prior to the main bouts, three preliminary shows will stream on ESPN+ and ESPNEWS from 8:00 pm.

Peter Murray, CEO of PFL, shared his pride in bringing world champions to the Riyadh Season and contributing to the first-ever PFL PPV Super Fight mega-global event. He considers the PFL Champions versus Bellator Champions a game-changer for both fighters and fans, and extended his gratitude to Al Al-Sheikh for the opportunity to expand MMA’s reach.
