In a display of expertise and national pride, Saudi Arabia is showcasing its cadre of specialists and experts, demonstrating the country’s leadership in the energy realm through various national programs and initiatives. A special pavilion with the theme ‘Sustainable Energy – Shared Future’ will highlight Saudi Arabia’s commitment to being a responsible energy producer and its proactive efforts in the fight against climate change.
The pavilion will shine a light on the Kingdom’s ambitious goals, including reaching net zero emissions by 2060, or potentially earlier with technological advancements. These initiatives underscore the commitment to securing sustainable energy access for all, while protecting the planet and its people.
Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the congress includes participating in key discussions on the development of renewable and nuclear energy, improving energy efficiency by 2030, and advancing liquid fuel displacement. The Kingdom is also part of dialogues focusing on accelerating the deployment of technologies for reducing and removing emissions, such as carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), and the production of low-carbon hydrogen.
