Saudi Arabia’s Premier Beauty Fair Unveils Global Talent

Beautyworld Saudi Arabia 2024: A Stage for Local and Global Innovations

The 4th iteration of Saudi Arabia’s most extensive international exposition for the beauty and wellness sector, Beautyworld Saudi Arabia 2024, recently inaugurated at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC). The event is scheduled to run until February 13th, presenting a rich tapestry of talent, insights, and offerings from around the globe.

With participation from 42 countries, Saudi Arabian exhibitors had a notable presence with 38 participants, 37 of whom were making their debut at this prestigious event. Beautyworld Saudi Arabia is one of the most significant exhibitions globally, and hosting it in Riyadh adds tremendous value to the Saudi market, commented Baligh Abdullah, General Director of Dar Al Amirat. Our participation as first-time exhibitors with our expanding salon and beauty supply brand is an honor. This platform enables us to strengthen connections with our partners and forge new ones with potential clients, he added.

Abdulmalik Abanami, General Manager of the burgeoning cosmetics and beauty company Promise, remarked on the opportunity to showcase to an international audience. As a business that originated in Saudi Arabia, exhibiting in Riyadh is phenomenal. Despite being just two years old, our rapid growth from an online store to a physical presence and our expansion are a testament to the demand for local brands with international appeal, he explained. Promise experienced an overwhelming response on day one of the fair, with a surge of international interest in their brand.

Raghad Altubaishi, Marketing Specialist at Promise, expressed a personal connection to the event: As a Saudi woman, seeing such a grand and prominent event take place in KSA is incredibly moving. Promise caters to both Gen Z and Millennials, focusing on the latest trends. Beautyworld Saudi Arabia serves as an invaluable bridge linking our nascent Saudi brand with the wider world, she stated.

This year’s Beautyworld Saudi Arabia is the largest to date, quadrupling in size compared to previous editions. Distinguished guests included Adhari Al-Haddari, Head of the Decorating and Sewing Centers Committee and Manal Al-Jarbou, Vice-Chairman of the Businesswomen’s Committee from the Riyadh Chamber. The event also featured the Next In Beauty Conference and the BeautyLIVE! stage, which hosted a plethora of tutorials and demonstrations over three days.

As the fifth global installment of the Beautyworld event series, following those in Dubai, Japan, and other locations, Beautyworld Saudi Arabia has been licensed to 1st Arabia Tradeshows & Conferences by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH.
