Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index Rises, Nomu Slips

Tadawul All Share Index gains 0.37%, while Nomu slips 1.55%

Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index rose by 0.37 percent, gaining 41.54 points to close at 11,219.02. The benchmark index had a total trading turnover of SR4.13 billion ($1.10 billion), with 148 stocks advancing and 71 retreating.

In contrast, the Kingdom’s parallel market, Nomu, slipped by 1.55 percent, losing 391.54 points to close at 24,844.08. Among the listed stocks, 29 advanced while 25 retreated.

The MSCI Tadawul Index also rose by 0.27 percent, gaining 3.86 points to close at 1,445.89.

The best-performing stock of the day was Middle East Healthcare Co, with its share price surging by 9.95 percent to SR86.20. Other top performers included Naqi Water Co. and Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Co., whose share prices soared by 6.34 percent and 6.03 percent, respectively.

The worst performer was Development Works Food Co., with its share price dropping by 5.64 percent to SR130.40. Other poor performers were Al-Rajhi Co. for Cooperative Insurance and Naseej International Trading Co.

The Saudi Exchange has announced the trading suspension on Dur Hospitality Co.’s shares starting from December 3 to commence delisting procedures. This decision follows the extraordinary general meeting’s approval of Taiba Investments Co.’s offer to acquire shares of Dur Hospitality Co.

Methanol Chemicals Co. has received the Ministry of Energy’s approval to allocate feedstock for manufacturing innovative products in the region, including methyl diethanolamine, choline chloride dimethyl disulfide, and n-methyl pyrrolidone. These products are expected to find applications in critical industries such as oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and construction materials.

Taiba Investments Co. has announced the results of its extraordinary general assembly meeting, including the increase of the firm’s capital remotely utilizing contemporary technology through the Tadawulaty platform.

Abdulaziz and Mansour Ibrahim Al-Babtain Co. has signed an agreement with Nestle Saudi Arabia. The agreement will be in force from the date of its signature and will automatically extend upon expiration.
