The Amwaj waterfront, situated by the central beach of Jizan city in the Jazan Region, is increasingly becoming a favored spot for those who love the sea, providing stunning vistas, captivating sunsets, and the region’s agreeable climate.
This waterfront development has been instrumental in transforming the coastal stretch into one of the Kingdom’s largest beachfront parks and a hub of vital investment, covering nearly 1,000,000 square meters.
Its advantageous location, close to the city’s heart and bustling markets, along with extensive parking facilities that cover 80,000 square meters, contribute to its growing popularity and accessibility.
The Jizan waterfront is comprised of six leisure zones, expansive green areas spanning 350,000 square meters, plazas, venues for events, and play areas for children. It is also home to a 2,600-meter-long and 30-meter-wide promenade by the seaside and the cultural street, which stands as a focal point within the waterfront precinct.
Efforts by the Jizan Municipality in recent times have been channeled towards enhancing the coastal regions and governorates. These initiatives include the creation of parks, play areas, promenades, and a plethora of tourist, sports, and service facilities, all aimed at providing a comprehensive and stimulating environment for visitors.
Currently, the region proudly offers 209 parks, 14 seafronts, 198 sports fields, and 96 public walking trails. These figures are a testament to the region’s dedication to enriching its recreational infrastructure and leisure offerings.
