Aramco Digital and Groq have announced a partnership to build the largest AI inferencing data center in Saudi Arabia. This initiative supports the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by enhancing digital transformation and establishing a global AI and cloud computing hub.
The center will combine Groq’s advanced AI and ML infrastructure with Aramco Digital’s strategic vision. It aims to process billions of tokens daily by 2024, expanding to hundreds of billions with millions of developers by 2025. This collaboration sets a new standard in data processing and analytics.
Tareq Amin, CEO of Aramco Digital, emphasized the project’s alignment with Vision 2030, focusing on technology localization and sustainability. The data center will utilize Groq’s LPU AI inference technology, known for its speed and efficiency, marking a significant milestone in global AI infrastructure development.
